Protection of customers' personal data is one of airBalticcard Mobile’s most important aspects of service performance.
The mobile operator processes personal data in accordance with the Law on protection of personal information as well as other legislative acts valid on Latvian Republic territory and on the basis of the Contract made with the Customer and with the Customer’s consent.
The transfer of Customers’ data to third parties can be executed only upon authorization by the Customer or within the bounds of legal obligations and criminal prosecution.
The mobile operator codes the data in 256 Bit, utilizing the “Extended Validation SSL123-certificate” data-encoding tools from the global leader of encoding certificates, Thawte Inc. This SSL certificate executes verification of domain names and the option to use 256-bit codecs of Web connections, postal servers and other appendices which are fraud- and “phishing”-proof.
